Emergency food for local people in crisis. The Trussell Trust foodbank network works in partnership with local churches and organisations to bring foodbanks to communities across the UK. There are now over 275 foodbanks in the network. Schools, churches, businesses and individuals donate non-perishable, in-date food to the foodbank. Please call in and see Mrs Fegan if you require a Foodbank Voucher.
East Sussex Young Carers. East Sussex Young Carers support the most vulnerable Young Carers aged 5-18 who are responsible for caring for a family member with a long term illness or disability, prioritising Young Carers caring for a parent with a mental health or drug and alcohol issue.
ChildLine. ChildLine is a free 24-hour counselling service for children and young people up to their 19th birthday in the UK provided by the NSPCC. ChildLine deals with any issue which causes distress or concern, common issues dealt with include child abuse, bullying, mental illness, parental separation or divorce, pregnancy and substance misuse.
Fegans. Fegans exists to bring hope to the lives of children, families and communities in towns across the UK. We do this through life transforming counselling, family restorative support, providing safe environments for at risk children & their parents and building communities through culture changing programs.
Home Works. Home Works is for you if you are aged 16 to 64 (a single person, a couple or a family), homeless or at risk of losing of your home, and need support to live independently. It is a free service which provides flexible and tailored support to prevent homelessness. We work with you to help you keep or access safe and affordable housing that you can call home.
School Health and Immunisation Service. We are a team of school nurses who work with children, young people and families in East Sussex. We work closely with health visitors, community paediatricians, schools, colleges and other services from your local community in a range of locations, including mainstream schools, special schools and further education colleges. Our aim is to promote and protect health and wellbeing and prevent ill health.
National Centre for Domestic Violence. Whe National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV) provides a free, fast emergency injunction service to survivors of domestic violence regardless of their financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation.
change, grow, live. We provide help and support to adults, children, young people and families. Our services cover a wide variety of areas including health and wellbeing, substance use, mental health, criminal justice, domestic abuse and homelessness.
Citizens Advice. We aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives. We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.
