In order to do this, Tollgate children will:

• learn and be well-prepared for the rapidly changing world by being curious, using problem-solving and appraising common thinking
• engage with the subject in school and be able to explain its relevance to the real world
• have aspirational ideas and designs for the future
• safely work independently and collaboratively, developing skills in a progressive and systematic way
