At Tollgate we teach art as a multi-sensory and creative process.

In order to do this, Tollgate children will:

• explore the process of creativity to visualise and interpret today’s world and the past
• make discoveries of how media and materials can be manipulated for effect
• problem-solve and evaluate, in order to develop skills and knowledge
• make links to their community and environment
